Astoria: Part I- The Park
One of my favorite places to go in Astoria is down to Astoria Park. You can walk along the water and catch a glimpse of the Triboro Bridge or the Hells Gate Bridge. There's a track to run on or if you prefer a more aquatic way of getting around theres always the public pool. Here is just a taste of the many shots I have of or in Astoria Park.....
Rusty
I was on the phone with my mother while I was in D.C. and I found out that I had a new nephew. I was extremely surprised but figured that this was bound to happen one day. I mean my younger brother probably has a few kids spread over NY that we dont know about. But to my surprise my brother Matt didnt impregnate some girl we never met....He got the cutest puppy I ever did see.....Rusty!
Macro - cosim Part I
I enjoy using the macro feature on my camera and am always looking for interesting ways to use it. I have seen some great blogs using macro like macro art in nature. There are amazing pictures there...here are a few of my attempts at macro
President's Day Photos
I spent President's Day wandering around the South Street Seaport, Madison Square Park and places in between taking in some sites....more pictures can be seen here at my flickr site.
Anarchists
I was walking home from the subway after work like I do every Monday thru Friday. I must have passed by pigeons in this pose a million times without ever noticing. However, on this day I had my camera strapped to my belt and suddenly it was the most obvious picture I had to take.
Blizzard of 2006
